Online Journalists stand up

Kevin Anderson has posted a fantastic meditation on [why it’s so difficult to be a journalist who works online. ](http://strange.corante.com/archives/2006/12/30/why_cant_i_be_passionate_about_journalism_and_technology.php)

It’s great when someone with Kevin’s experience and profile highlights this kind of thing and I hope this stirs up a lot of debate.

In response, Bryan Murley at the Innovation in College Media weblog ended with this thought.

So my belated Christmas wish is that we all make a New Year’s Resolution to end the backstabbing, in-fighting, and holier-than-thou attitudes and get on with the business of making good journalism – whatever the platform.

Amen to that.
